As a parent in 2022, it is important to always "keep an ear out". Whether we are listening to our favorite 90's playlist, true crime podcast or the highlights from last night's games, the value of being able to hear what we are listening to while still be able to hear our surroundings is immense.A friend showed me his Bose Frames a couple months ago and I was immediately sold. I had since seen a few ads for Bose Frames online and had even seen a pair on display at our local Walmart. I am rarely one to immediately buy up the first thing I like and try to shop around when available. I am so grateful that I did!The Lucyd Lyte smart glasses are amazing! The design of the glasses is comfortable and even for a person with a big head, fits well. The lenses are well made and serve the purpose that I need (blue light filtering) very well. The frames look great, and the lenses can be taken out and replaced with an appropriate amount of force. But where these smart glasses really shine is what makes them truly "smart glasses", the Bluetooth speakers and microphone. The sound is crisp and full, yet not overbearing. The microphone sensitivity is well optimized and doesn't make it sound like you're 3 meters away or alternatively screaming into the microphone. The honorable mention for the top spot of what makes these glasses truly an amazing purchase: the top notch customer service. I had an issue with my smart glasses initially, so I reached out to the Lucyd customer service email address on the sticker on the bottom of the box. I advised of my issue and asked for some guidance. Literally 4 minutes later I had received a response providing immediate resolution to my concern and the problem was resolved. This may be the best purchase of 2022 for me. I find it hard to believe that another purchase could give me the same feeling of freedom while parenting and working that these smart glasses provide to me. I can't wait for my first digital meeting next week at work to personally recommend these glasses to the whole team!I ordered these after doing some research about smart audio glasses, and decided to try these over Amazon's. I'm glad that I did, and I'm especially glad I chose a pair that were blue light filtering instead of one of the sunglasses. The sound is clear and the everything is perfectly functional with my iPhone 13 Pro Max, including being able to use the buttons to ask Siri and make phone calls. Obviously, you would expect these to have the same sound as high-end headphones or speakers, but you can clearly hear the music without any tinniness. Plus the blue-light filtering is high-quality, and there's definitely less strain on my eyes when reading on my phone or tablet. All in all, the purchase was worth it, I'm definitely a fan of the brand now, and I'm excited to see how they improve upon the product moving forward. For starters, I am no stranger to sound glasses- I have owned 3 versions from Lucyd as well as Bose Frames. This is the first pair that looks like normal glasses. The arms are slim and the glasses themselves are not noticeably heavier than regular glasses. The back of the earpiece is the only part of the design that betrays these as not just sunglasses.AS for the sound- holy cow! These do get loud. I can't turn them up all the way as it is too loud to enjoy. Significant bleed out of sound at higher volumes but at reasonable levels they are fine. Sound is loud enough that I mowed with an electric mower and could hear both my music and what was around me.Battery seems pretty good, I will update as I do more testing but I listened to podcasts and music for about 3 hours over a couple of days and still have 80% battery left. Played music and whatnot for 5 more hours, still shows 60%.Bass response is good, not great. Phone calls worked very well, no complaints about my microphone. Controls took some learning but work very well. All in all, I think these glasses check a lot of boxes for me- strong sound and battery life being first and foremost. It's very apparent that the Lucyd team is very discerning about quality and it shows with these comfortable glasses.Audio is superb quality, better than my beats ear buds to put it into perspective. I'm very impressed with how crystal clear the audio for music and phone calls are. No latency issues on calls or delays from my Bluetooth compatible devices. It's also impressive by how much value you get for this price. Not only are these cheaper than the Bose sunglasses but the quality all around usurps Bose in every aspect. I will definitely be getting a second pair (one prescription and one as regular sunglasses) very happy with this purchase.Very glad I found this product and definitely would recommend to anyone in the market for sunglasses/glasses in general, for this price and the style doesn't even look like there would be Bluetooth capability built in. Also the touch controls are some of the best and most responsive.Absolutely love my new glasses! They're so cool! I've never heard of other tech prescription glasses which allow me to answer phone calls or play music. It makes things so much more convenient for me. I don't have to worry about losing my headphones or charging my wireless ones. The price is also way more affordable than at my optometrist's office. Everything is also handled online and the glasses are shipped to my door, so I don't have to take time to go to an office or make an appointment. This is the best experience I've had with getting new glasses!I've had two pairs of these smart glasses now, I returned the first one because the button on the left arm was loose and would rattle around. Now on the second pair it's even worse because both buttons are loose, sending them back and not going for a third try
