We bought these for our daughter who gets sensory overload. I also have issues with it and have thrown these on when the kids get too loud and my head too full. I love these bc they really drown out the noise but you can still heat and be apart of the conversation. They can be tricky to open and put on especially for small hands but they do seem to be loosening up a bit. I’ve pinched my fingers a few times but my 5 yo seems to be more versed at it then me. My 3 yo is starting to show signs of sensory overload as well so I’m thinking of adding another pair for him as well. Actually, I will probably purchase 2-3 more pairs for home, car (bc I always forget them at home), and for my daughter to take to school when she starts kindergarten in the fall. They have been a huge help and even my daughter is getting better about grabbing them on her own and remembering to have me take them when we are leaving the house.
