These headphones are cheap and have decent sound. They fold up to a size small enough to fit into my pants pocket. They fit comfortably on the head and are not too tight. Since the ear pads do not surround the ear they do not provide any sort of external sound blockage, so are not appropriate in noisy environments. Given that I use them almost every day and that I treat them roughly, they typically last only a few months. Usually the failure is that one ear-pad speaker starts cutting in and out, or fails altogether. However, given that they are cheap and convenient I will continue to buy new ones as they fail.UPDATE (23-March-2012) I have now owned 4 or 5 of these and they seem to be failing even faster than I originally indicated, so I will probably stop buying these and buy something more expensive but, hopefully, more durable. These are clearly not for audiophiles - I wanted something portable and light that I could carry around with me to use with my ipod. I wind up waiting around for meetings, in train stations, airports etc a lot and it is nice to be able to relax with what I want to hear. The sound isn't bad, actually well-balanced, though it is really low volume. I would have also paid extra $$ to have a volume control on the actual headset. I have a much more expensive set (Koss) and the sound on these is just as good, and the koss also have a low volume issue. Not as good as my very expensive noise cancelling headphones, but they are not designed for that. Would buy again, and am going to get some for the kids.I needed a head set that was small but with good sound quality to use when I travel. These have worked out well. The ear buds don't stay in my ears and the noise canceling are too bulky for working out or jogging. These have been fairly successful at serving dual purposes. The only complaint is that the connection seems a little big and I have difficulty getting a secure fit on my iPhone w/ a case or even on older planesI bought a few pairs of these. The design looks like a good idea, but it's hard to figure out how to fold them up without bending or breaking something.I would be willing to forgive that, but the sound quality is terrible. Right away, I noticed that they were not as loud as any other headphones I had used. I had to turn my volume way up. But they are quickly overdriven, so you can't turn it up too much or they will sound like horrible crunching static. The worst part is the plug. When you twist the plug in the jack or even just move your head, there is a burst of static.Like the title says, I hope mine are defective, because if they're all junk like mine were then you should look elsewhere. It's a shame there are no good folding headphones in the $20 price range.Nice little pair of backup headphones. My daughter prefers them to more expensive ones because they don't "squeeze her head" ! She was so happy when she found them in her holiday stocking and immediately started using them at the gym. Can't beat the price!!! On an important note, you cannot use this on an IPod that has a plastic case on it. The jack will not push in all the way. Evidently this is a common issue, the old ones that are the same make always worked so this batch must be using a new design. :0( .Fantastic sound quality for 'cheap' headphones. Comfort rates 4 out of 10. They dont last too long, as the cord insulation hardens and cracks, resulting in wire breakage. Great price.UPDATE:Tried the Amazon Basics on ear headphones at $15 and if youre considering those, DO NOT WATE THE MONEY, just buy a set or two of these and youll be much happier. Not only is the sound level very low (I had to turn my volume all the way up and it's still hard to hear) but if the plug twists in the slightest, there are bursts of static and the volume gets even worse. I'm only giving them 2 stars because they MAY be handy to have for travelling, but I would definitely NOT recommend these headphones for everyday use. These headphones seemed like a good buy, and indeed they are quite good, as long as you are only using them on your computer. However, from the minute I unpacked them, they did not work with my iPhone 5, both transmitting little to no music, as well as calling up Siri about once every five minutes. The same thing happened on my older iPod Touch, which works fine with any other headphones. I understand now why these headphones are discontinued. Good quality for anything but iPhone / iPod.Perfect in soundQuality is just ok
