I have tried several pairs of “kids” headphones before, and they never worked on our kindle, couldn’t hear anything. Or I’d try cheap adult sized ones and they obviously were too big and she wouldn’t wear that either. These are the perfect headphones, she happily wears them for hours when traveling.We purchased these headphones since they were advertised with a chew-proof cable. I have a young son who habitually chews on the cable. It took him about 10 days to destroy the cable. It definitely is more sturdy than some I've seen but it's not chew-proof. If that's what you need, look elsewhere.These lasted longer than some of the other kid-friendly headphones that I purchased, but after a month or so they were snapping and tearing in half near the jack. Almost a good buy.The vinyl part that touches the ear continues to pop off on a classroom set. They should have been glued on from the factory. I like them other than that.
